About Coleman Family Trip
The Trip
For years, several members of our family have wanted to arrange a trip so that we could experience Africa together. Well, this is that time and this is that trip! So, tell the rest of your kin and invite your friends to join us as we experience Ghana together, November 23-30, 2024.
We will embark on an 8-day/7-night cultural experience that begins in Atlanta, GA and lands in Accra, Ghana with a layover in Amsterdam. Please thoroughly read the complete itinerary on this site.
Payment can be made in installments and must be completed by August 15, 2024, to the tour company. Additional air travel payment information will be provided in January prior to the January 4, 2024, payment. You will be making two separate payment installments, one for the Delta Group flight, and a separate payment(s) to the Ashanti Tour Company.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. Registration Requires all the following: Names of each traveler, email address to use for this trip, phone number, date of birth, and a copy or photo of the picture page of your passport.
2. Everyone should pack an umbrella or raincoat because it sometimes rains in the evening in November. You should also pack a white outfit for the naming ceremony.
3. The only shot required is the yellow fever vaccine or a signed and stamped exemption note from your physician.
3. Culturally, the left hand should not be used to shake hands or pick up food. They will share a common phrase book and orientation notes upon arrival.
4.Ashanti is offering an option for a 3-day safari for anyone who would like to stay to see the animals. That is a separate add-on excursion and not part of the 8 day 7 nights planned for 11/23/2024-11/30/2024.
5. All hotels are booked through the tour company. No exceptions.
The Cost
The Cost of the Coleman Family Trip is as follows:
Delta Airlines - Your city to Accra deposit of $200 is due January 4, 2024. Prices will be emailed to you as prices vary based on availability, departure location and time of booking.
Ashanti Tour-includes all hotel accommodations, 3 meals per day, water, snacks and all excursion fees. $1995.
This private tour prices include the following:
